Whether you are looking to make your home more efficient, transform the look of your space, or if you are building the home of your dreams, R&R can help!
We supply and install windows, entrance doors, patio doors and terrace doors. With all of the styles and features available, your options are endless. We pride ourselves on our customer service and our quality installations. Most of our business is achieved through word-of-mouth, and that is because of our great dedication to our customers.
What makes R&R different from the other contractor companies?
We use high quality Canadian, locally made Window and Door products. Whether your project involves replacement, renovation or new construction, we are here to help. The windows and doors we use have the strongest, best insulated frame, and are energy star rated. We stand behind our work, providing a lifetime warranty on window frames and glass.
We provide vinyl windows, wood windows, aluminum clad windows and commercial aluminum storefronts. Steel doors, fibreglass doors and custom made wood doors are also available.
As a family run business, R&R strives to provide you with the best service experience possible. We will give you consistency in who you deal with; often the person who quotes your project will be with you through measuring, ordering, and present on the day of installation. Our small team allows us to be very smooth and efficient with every project. Each individual has a thorough knowledge of our products and services, and we enjoy sitting with you to discuss options and help you find the right solution for your project.
I need to replace the windows in my home. What can I expect?
Every customer and project is unique; by sharing your goals with us, we will be better able to assist you. Whether your priority is quality, function, price, aesthetics, or any combination of these, we have the right product and a solution for you.
We may advise full cut-outs of the window itself when replacing. Many companies will give you a lower price when they quote, but the truth is, most are only looking to install what is known as a "fit-in" window. They will remove the glass portion only, and "fit-in" the new glass and frame to the opening. This leaves very little glass surface on the new window, and a lower insulating value. This is important because the most common reason for someone to replace a window is to stop the draft.
By removing the entire window and going back to the existing studwork, we get a much higher insulating factor, a better seal, and larger viewing area. Furthermore, the window will look as though it belongs and be more aesthetically pleasing. We will finish the window inside and out. All of this is included in the price we give you. We complete our own woodworking for the trim inside, and apply a matching colour caulking outside. If extra aluminum work is needed outside, we will finish it. The only thing left for you to do will be the painting or staining of the inside trim.
If your house is older, and you are worried about preserving the character of the house by keeping the existing trim or jambs around the old window, sometimes your best option is to do a fit-in window. We look at all of these options and, working with you, decide what is best for you and your house.
